Und irgendwie brabbeln sie was von Cloud, d.h. das wird sicher nicht nur sicherheitstechnisch der Super-Fail.

Das wär’ dann ja mal DIE Gelegenheit, aus diesen ganzen vor sich hindümpelnden Open Source-Alternativen (Gimp für PS, Inkscape (speicherbare Fenster-/Paletten-Layouts wären schonmal ein Anfang) für Illustrator, Scribus für Indesign, ???* für After Effects) per Crowdfunding zu benutzbaren Programmen ausbauen zu lassen. Wer ist dabei?

Tolle Typo-Arbeit von Waldek Wegrzyn von der Academy of Fine Arts in Kattowitz, der ein Buch-Interface für der Website Elektrobiblioteka gebaut hat, die sich über Pagination und Haptik der Seiten steuern lässt. Ein Touch-Buch sozusagen. Das alles gibt’s bisher nur auf polnisch, Core77 hat ‘ne Zusammenfassung von dem, was da passiert:

For his diploma project at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, Polish designer Waldek Wegrzyn has created “Elektrobiblioteka,” a bibliomorphic (yes I just made that up) interface for a digital publication. The sheer physicality of the printed volume is antithetical to the pixelated simulacra of the tablet or e-ink reader, and labor-intensive execution of the ‘reverse-engineered’ pagination, documented in the video below, seems to be well worth the effort.
